Hetu Construction Private Limited is a 35 year old Construction Company that has been involved in the building of some of Gujarat’s most iconic and notable buildings.
Armed with strong experience and a treasure chest of bold and fresh ideas, we have been undertaking projects for hospitals, schools, factories, leisure clubs and more with utmost ease and precision.
Today, Hetu’s work ethics are soaked in the wisdom and experience of its founder – Late Shri Mahesh Desai – a remarkable civil engineer, who identified the need for quality construction work in the state of Gujarat and set up Hetu after years of hard work and perseverance. His strict principals run in the very foundations of the company, which is now run by the newer generations. Projects here are treated with the wisdom and principals of the old times fused with a surge of new ideas and bold undertakings of the new generation.

Late Mahesh D Desai
Founder (1930-2004)
Armed with 25 years of expert management experience and technical know how gained from his stint at Ganon and Dunkerly, Mahesh Desai set out with the aim to start a company that provides solutions to all constructional needs. That was the inception of Hetu Construction Pvt Ltd and since then, there was no looking back. Even today, Mahesh Desai is remembered by industry stalwarts for his expertise in exposed RCC and exposed brickwork. We at HCPL believe that he was of of the greatest minds in construction entrepreneurship
Mr Tushar M Desai
Chairman & Managing Director D.C.E
Having taken the reins of Hetu in his hands at young age with a fresh mind, Tushar Desai multiplied the success of HCPL by multifold. He traveled the world, in search of new machineries and introduced the latest technology to his field here in Ahmedabad. He diversified HCPL and undertook various projects, including industrial, residential, commercial & even special architectural projects and excelled at each of them. He put to use, his remarkable managerial skills and heightened the growth of the company like never before.

B.Tech (Construction Technology) CEPT
The Third generation civil Engineer, was always fascinated by the professions of his father and Grandfather, and so went on to get a degree in Civil Construction Technology from one of the best universities for construction technologies. Having worked on sites like the Bangalore Metro and the Tunneling Projects in Delhi Metro before joining the Family Business, Hirak is armed with sound technical education and managerial skills. Hirak has single handedly undertaken large Industrial, Commercial and Residential projects and delivered them in time and with quality.
